Wine Description
Coming from alluvial soils near the Maipo Valley, this Carmenere is profound and powerful -a multilayer construction of blackberry, chocolate, spices and herb flavors supported by opulent tannins and sharp acidity.
"Everything about this select-level Carmenere is impressive. It's colorful and wrapped in a cloak of classy oak. The palate is juicy and balanced to a tee, with dark berry flavors busting free. A little young oak emerges on the finish, but it vanishes in short order once you air things out. A wonderful red wine regardless of variety."
