Wine Description
The 2003 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon was created as a blend of several premier vineyards located
in diverse microclimates around the valley with the majority of the fruit coming from local hillside or
mountain vineyards. Overall production increased significantly this year due to the acquisition of newer
vineyard sources coupled with a growing demand for the wine.
"Our 2003 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon shows deep, rich fruit notes. Hints of spicy oak and vanilla
complement the concentrated aromas of blackberry jam, chocolate, and cassis. On the palate, the flavors
are bold, full-bodied, and intense, yet the wine maintains balance, richness and an elegant finish. This wine
will continue to develop richness, depth and complexity with additional time in the bottle and should
drink exceptionally well for the next 10-15 years." Richard Batchelor, Winemaker
