Wine Description
Blend: 76% Cabernet Sauvignon, 9% Merlot,
8% Syrah, 6% Malbec, 1% Cabernet Franc.
The 2004 Sonoma County Cabernet Sauvignon is beautifully balanced with power and
elegance. Fragrant cassis, black currant, cherries and spice tones dominate the complex aroma.
Palate tastes of ripe cherries and vanilla from the French oak that is never cloying or heavy. The
finish is bright, moderately tannic and very refined. The spice from the Cabernet Franc and the
mid-body weight from the Merlot are apparent and make this wine a beautifully confluent
experience. It will age nicely for ten to twelve years and will be quite enjoyable as it moves into
adolescence in four to six years.
