Merlot welcome with a bright cranberry color, so dense that it might be mistaken for a cranberry concentrate." The nose begins with black fruit, cherry and a slight hint of espresso roast." True to the nose, the palate bursts with blackberry fruit, a touch of blueberry fruit and as Winemaker Francois Cordesse describes, "a melting toffee" character.
