Wine Description
This is a fruit-forward, well-structured Merlot that opens with aromas of cherry, raspberry, red plum,
black pepper, spice, earth, smoke and vanilla. It fills the mouth with smooth cherry, rhubarb, raspberry
and plum flavors along with hints of earth and spice in the toasty vanilla finish. Full-bodied, yet
approachable, with a good balance of acid and tannins.
The fruit and balance of this Merlot make it a perfect companion for food. Pair with grilled pork chops,
steaks, burgers, salmon, ribs or sausages. A wonderful choice with hearty soups, chili and stews, as well
as rich pasta dishes such as four cheese lasagna or spicy beef and chicken fajitas.
