Wine Description
Color: Deep garnet red.
Aromas: The wine shows fragrant wild berry aromas, dark plum, a hint of tobacco and fine integrated oak toast.
Palate: The palate also shows these dark berry fruits and exhibits a mouth-filling, ripe fruit sweetness. Soft, supple tannins give this wine excellent mouth-feel.
Serving Suggestions: Porcini or field mushroom risotto or pasta. Grilled rare venison or grilled ostri Chateau Slow-cooked rabbit, hare or wild fowl stews with winter vegetables. Duck confit.
Cellaring: An elegant but complex, fruit-driven wine which may be cellared for up to six years.
